We can fight against coronavirus but first we need to understand what to do and how to do. The Corona virus, or Sars-CoV-2, as well as the lung disease Covid-19 caused by this virus is on everyone’s lips. Every day the number of infected and dead people is increasing worldwide, particularly in India, it has massively affected the livelihood. It is time to do something about the virus.
Below are the three steps that can help us fight against coronavirus
Step 1: Inform yourself intensively and DO NOT panic!
It is extremely important that you know what is happening. Yes, you can certainly argue about the sense of some measures – hamster purchases are pure, stupid nonsense, as there are no supply shortages (they are caused by pointless bunkering!) and there won’t be any.
If you inform yourself, you will quickly realize that the virus itself is not incredibly much worse than the flu. It is only worse because the virus is new to humans and humans fear the unknown. In this respect the fear is at least understandable. Nevertheless, many people go to work or school with flu every year. This is – and remains – total shit, no matter what kind of virus it is. Of course we have to be careful, but not only since Corona, but ALWAYS. But: Don’t panic, don’t overreact. Reason is king.
Under no circumstances does it fall into any kind of panic. Caution is definitely required, but no panic. We will not all die, we will not all become zombies. The end of the world is not (yet) imminent, not by this virus. However, the virus is dangerous for old people and people who have problems with their immune system and/or have serious pre-existing conditions. If you are healthy, you don’t have to worry about yourself – but that doesn’t mean that you are out of the topic, because you have a massive responsibility as a potential carrier!

Step 2: Take the warnings of virologists and the government regarding Sars-CoV-2 and Covid-19 seriously!
It is currently really ABSOLUTELY important that you trust, believe, and accept possible restrictions from virologists, research, and the government. If you do not do this, you may risk your own life, or at least the lives of older people or people with serious pre-existing conditions. Please just take this seriously. Of course you are allowed to joke – the humour must never fade. But be aware of the situation.
Of course – as I said – the virus is currently not extremely deadly, maybe even “only” problematic for a limited group of people. Maybe it is. But just think, what if it was Ebola. Or the Spanish flu. Or a completely new deadly disease with a death rate of 50%. If the reaction were to be like that, as many unfortunately still do, half of mankind would be finished in no time.
Step 3: Take part in [email protected] projects and help to fight against coronavirus!
There are some who panic, feel helpless, don’t know how to help. There are many possibilities! For example, reduce direct contact, disinfect your hands after shopping/toilet/etc, nest/cough in the crook of your arm, avoid crowds (clubs, bars, cinema etc.)
And if you cannot attend: You may be able to save lives by simply following the instructions of the police, federal government and other government agencies.
