Marvel’s Spider Man 2: Leak allegedly reveals release date and story details
Due to a new leak in March, the release date and first story details of Marvel’s Spider Man 2 are now online. Well, are you already waiting for the first information about Marvel’s Spider Man 2?
Unfortunately I can’t provide you with official information, but I have some rumours for you. The rumours mention a release date and story details are mentioned as well.
According to that the starting point of the story should look like this: While Peter Parker is still in New York City, MJ is apparently somewhere else covering the ongoing peace talks in Samkyria. As a result of these talks, she won’t be home for several weeks. Nevertheless, Peter has returned to the Daily Bugle to help with the rent, while MJ has also returned to his position in the company.
Dynamic weather and dynamic missions
In the meantime, winter has apparently arrived in NYC, which has an impact on the gameplay. There’s now light rain, light snow, heavy snow and four more dynamic weather effects and you can apparently see snow accumulating on characters – including Spider Man – over time.
There will be dynamic missions to make the city look more alive. This could mean rescuing a construction worker who is about to fall off a cliff, or taking someone to a hospital.

There will also be more side missions. Not much is said about these missions in the rumor, but a race against the human torch is mentioned. The rumors also include information about Eddie Brock, who seems to be inspired by his cartoon iterations, which means he’ll be big and brazen. Dr. Conners is mentioned as well as MJ, who apparently will be seen in cutscenes this time.
DLCs with Morbius, Wraith and Carnage
Harry, with Eddie Brock in the game, will not become Venom, which is a common theory among fans. The idea behind this is that Brock will be given a longer history. However, according to reports, Harry will be the first host of the symbiote created by Oscorp.
In this context, there will also be a black suit in the game. In fact, it is claimed that every suit in the game will have a symbiote version. Also mentioned are three other DLCs involving Morbius, Wraith and Carnage. The announcement of the game is scheduled for this summer and a release is planned for summer 2021.
